Co-founder and CTO January 2014 - March 2017

Was Co-founder and CTO of MicroCent Technologies Inc., working on the Bitness product. Bitness was a venture for brick-and-mortar store location analytics. Using WiFi technology and small "beacons" that detected smartphone WiFi signals in their vicinity, Bitness tracked users going in and out of the store, as well as where they went in the store, and then allowed stores to access this data through a proprietary online dashboard.


Stanford University Innovation Fellows

Resident Fellow at Dalhousie University November 2017 - Present

The University Innovation Fellows is a global community with more than 1000 fellows from 185+ universities, individuals determined to create change in how I&E is done in higher education. After successfully completing a 6-week intensive online design thinking & lean methodology training program designed by the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design ( of Stanford University, I was inducted to the rank of Fellow at Dalhousie. University Innovation Fellows work closely with peers, faculty and administrators to foster an entrepreneurial mindset from within the administration and push to create greater collaboration across faculties and departments. We believe that innovation and entrepreneurship are the key to placing universities at the forefront of the entrepreneurial revolution.

Hoist Halifax

Co-Founder and Program Coordinator January 2015 - Present

I co-founded and help organize the Hoist Halifax program: run out of Volta Labs in Halifax, Hoist is a program to bring together youth that have an interest in technology and entrepreneurship. Composed of monthly meetings, Hoist consists of lectures and workshops to help youth on their way to making their own startup.

About Me

I'm a Halifax based university student, web developer and entrepreneur passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. I have a fascination for technology and how we interact with it. I'm currently attending Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, in the Bachelor of Computer Science program. I'm interested in bio-inspired computing and conversation agents and AI. Tangential interests include political science, international relations, and law.
